There are many different credit card companies that offer large bonuses for opening up new credit cards. The list goes on and on. We get lost between American Express and Visa. Everyone has their own favorite for their own reasons. I like Chase. Personally, I have found their point system to be the most efficient and worthwhile. You could choose whatever you decide works for you.

Chase Bank offers so many different types of credit cards. They range from hotel, airlines and even for Disney. But the cards that you want are those that give you "Ultimate Rewards Points." They are the following,

1. Chase Freedom
2. Chase Freedom Unlimited
3. Chase Sapphire Preferred
4. Chase Sapphire Reserve
5. Ink Business Preferred [Business Credit Card]
6. Ink Business Cash [Business Credit Card]

These cards allow you to transfer points between themselves, which is extremely valuable. For the purposes of this page,


This is what I would recommend.

 You could open these cards in any order. Just wait on the Sapphire Reserve until you are ready to go on a major trip.

 Apply for the Chase Freedom.
Chase Freedom Offers 15,000 bonus after you spend $1000 in 3 months.
It has no annual fee. [Keep this card with you forever.]


Spend the next 3-4 months just using Freedom to collect points.

Apply for the Chase Sapphire Preferred [Now you could only choose the Preferred or the Reserve]

Chase Sapphire Preferred Offers 50,000 bonus points after you spend $4000 in 3 months.
$95 annual fee starting 2nd year. First year is free.
After 1 year, transfer the points to Chase Freedom
Call and ask for this card to be downgraded to "Freedom Unlimited" which has no annual fee. This means that you won't have to pay for the card at all.

The Most Important Question

How did I collect enough bonus points to go to Europe for 3 weeks? People have asked me this question so many times and I can't explain every detail to every person every time. So I will try to answer it here for you all to see. Preparation  January 2016  I opened up the  Chase Freedom Card  and Miel opened up the  Chase Sapphire Preferred  Card.
